Bar-a-boo

It’s housed in a beautiful old tenement buiding and the funky, minimalist decor is sensitive to the elegance of the original architecture. They also have a streetside garden for al fresco dining in the warmer months.

You have to go up and order your food from a menu of pizzas, pastas, salads and snacks, take a number for your table and wait for the grub. Today I chose tagliatelle with prosciutto and mushrooms and it came really quickly and was surprisingly good. For the price they charged, it was wonderful.

I’ve also heard on the grapevine that their pizzas are among the best in town. So whether you’re a student, a busy teacher with limited time for a feed between classes or anyone else just passing through, give Baraboo a try. I reckon you’ll love it.
